Gena and Demetrius were married in October in the Detroit area. I have known them for several years. It was an honor when they asked me to shoot their wedding. Seeing them together and knowing their story reminds me of something very important. When you find the one. The one that is right for you. The one that is good for you. Nothing else really matters. Guys, thank you for sharing your day. Enjoy your preview!

Bethany & Shawn Engaged
Bethany and Shawn are getting married next March in Port Huron. I recently made the trek to the east side of the state where we shot their engagement photos at the beautiful Fore Lakes Golf Club. We then headed to Algonac where we did some shooting along the water as well as on Shawn's family boat. It was a fun change of pace to get out and shoot in a new location! Enjoy your preview Bethany and Shawn!

Nichole and Andy were married on August 29th in Lansing. The ceremony was the at MSU Alumni Chapel. One of my favorite moments was Nichole's dad seeing her. He entered the room in tears, hugged her then exited in tears. I don't believe he was able to speak a word. That will be me one day. The reception featured the best man and maid of honor in costume for their speeches...as characters from Harry Potter. Yes, Harry Potter. You definitely had to be there. What party it was. Nichole and Andy, enjoy your preview and thanks for your patience as I get caught up on my blogging!

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Katherine and Jason. The Van Andel Museum is the setting for both the ceremony and reception next July. We were given permission to shoot their engagement photos in the museum. What an incredible experience. What a challenge! The combination of lighting and backgrounds almost creates the look of a play or musical. Very dramatic. I love it. Notice a lot of kissing? They were. I could hardly keep them apart! I cannot wait to shoot their wedding. Enjoy your preview!
